To ensure academic quality, operational clarity, and alignment with our academic partner, Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge, Clarkson Institute offers two formal pathways for schools to engage with the programme.

Pathway 1. Be an Associated School

Pathway 2. Be an Official Clarkson Institute Test Centre
Pathway 1. Associated School
Associated Schools support the programme through student guidance and academic endorsement, without hosting the entrance examination.
Role & Responsibilities

Support the promotion of the Clarkson programme within the school community

Recommend students whose academic profile and motivation align with the aims of the programme
-
Host ONE in-school information session for interested students and parents (led by Clarkson Institute)
In recognition of this partnership, Associated Schools will receive
-
Official Recognition as a Clarkson Institute Associated School: Commemorative plaque issued by Clarkson Institute

Student Achievement Recognition: Public acknowledgement (e.g. website and/or social media) when students from the school are successfully selected for Clarkson programmes
-
Priority Access to Programme Information: early updates on future Clarkson initiatives, academic activities, and talent development opportunities
Pathway 2. Official Clarkson Institute Test Centre
Due to the need to align academic standards, quality control, and operational expectations with Lucy Cavendish College, University of Cambridge, appointment as an Official Clarkson Institute Test Centre is limited and by invitation only.
Test Centre Eligibility Requirements
All appointed test centres must meet ALL of the following criteria:

Examination Capacity: Minimum 150 Candidates per Venue

Proven Top-Tier University Placements (QS Top-10)

Minimum of Five Years of Institutional Operation

Official School Website
-
Total School Population of 2,000 Students or Above

Allow candidates outside of own student body to take the exam in the school
Appointment Process

Appointment as a Clarkson Institute Test Centre is by invitation only and subject to internal review

Meeting the eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee appointment

Appointed schools will receive

A formal appointment letter
-
A signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Detailed examination logistics, security protocols, and operational guidelines

Official Test Centres will receive

Official Designation as a Clarkson Institute Test Centre: Commemorative plaque issued by Clarkson Institute

Institutional Visibility: school profile featured on the official Clarkson Institute website as a Test Centre partner

Academic Signalling & Brand Alignment: Association with a selective, Cambridge-aligned academic initiative strengthens the school’s academic positioning and external credibility
-
Priority Engagement Opportunities: Priority consideration for future Clarkson academic activities, talent programmes, and pilot initiatives

Enhanced Student Outcomes: Direct access for students to a structured, selective mathematics talent identification pathway linked to Cambridge-style academic training
